Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate equipment safely and efficiently within designed parameters.
  • •Perform pre- and post-shift inspections of equipment and check parts for proper function.
  • •Excavate holes and ditches, move materials, load materials into trucks, and use equipment to grade terrain.
  • •Locate utilities and buried lines prior to digging and maintain safe slopes on excavations.
  • •Perform minor servicing/maintenance or refer major issues, and assist labor crews with shoveling, raking, and compacting asphalt.
