Key Responsibilities

  • •Design portions of manufacturing engineering solutions, including methods, operation sequences, and processes for components and assemblies.
  • •Implement time standards, production area layouts, and tooling and process requirements for new product subsystems and portions.
  • •Develop cost estimates and capacity models, and provide recommendations for tooling and process requirements.
  • •Develop and review key factory performance indicators, then recommend actions to factory management.
  • •Ensure manufacturing compliance with internal and external regulations and collaborate with internal and outsourced partners to resolve manufacturing issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year or graduate degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline (or commensurate experience).
  • •Typically 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in engineering design and solutions or a related field.
  • •Experience implementing engineering methods, operation sequences, and processes for manufacturing parts and assemblies.
  • •Ability to develop time standards, production layouts, and tooling/process requirements.
  • •Data analysis capability to create conclusions and recommendations from current-state analysis.
