Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with the Branch Chief to identify and assess training objectives and needs, strategize delivery options, and develop course materials for classroom and online training.
  • •Analyze and evaluate training and training plans to ensure compliance with federal, departmental, and agency policies and standards.
  • •Research an automated training tracking system for operational guidebook lessons and provide options to Branch Chiefs.
  • •Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement training rollout plans, ensuring training is available in the LMS and completed by the target audience.
  • •Design and develop training programs, learning solutions, and instructional materials using appropriate formats; collaborate with SMEs, evaluate results, and modify future programs as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree or higher.
  • •2+ years using Captivate or other instructional development software.
  • •3+ years developing and designing online courses.
  • •Basic knowledge/experience in Emergency Management and/or Occupational Health and Safety.
  • •Strong technical writing and Microsoft Office skills; familiar with MS SharePoint; successful background investigation and ability to obtain/maintain a government suitability determination/security clearance.
