Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide low voltage electrical design and consultancy services, taking ownership of defined workstreams on complex engineering projects.
  • •Ensure right-first-time delivery of design packages with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance (including CDM regulations).
  • •Support design leads and project managers with technical design checks, reviews, and alignment to scope and standards.
  • •Act as design lead on smaller or less complex projects, managing discipline inputs, programme, commercial performance, and escalating risks or issues.
  • •Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and key stakeholders from concept through detailed design and construction stages, contributing to meetings and workshops.

Key Requirements

  • •Track record delivering low voltage electrical design to a high standard, preferably within the UK transportation sector.
  • •Experience delivering feasibility, design, installation, maintenance, or technical assurance within EV and/or wider transportation (road/rail) sectors.
  • •Ability to take ownership of work packages, including technical quality, programme, and cost performance.
  • •Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with growing confidence in leading smaller projects or discipline packages.
  • •Hold City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382).
