Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform daily production floor inspections to identify unsafe conditions and take corrective action; lead safety audits and ergonomic initiatives while ensuring HACCP and USDA regulatory adherence.
  • •Maintain food safety and food quality by training employees on safe operating procedures, including lock-out/tag-out, and ensuring tasks follow product specifications.
  • •Track and analyze production yields, efficiencies, and variances; work with Operations Managers and Supervisors to improve workflows and equipment use to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
  • •Direct hourly production employees by aligning the team on safety, quality, and production goals; run monthly line meetings and conduct daily floor walks.
  • •Analyze product performance metrics and recommend continuous improvement actions to enhance efficiency, minimize costs, and maintain quality standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Experience acting as a lead by providing training, coaching, or mentoring to less experienced staff, or managing a process or project.
  • •Strong oral and written communication skills while leading problem-solving for complex process issues, with solid analytical and math abilities.
  • •Ability to motivate, train, and coach employees to achieve peak performance in a positive, respectful, team-oriented environment.
  • •Adaptable to fast-paced environments, able to work in heat and cold, and willing to work long hours and weekends when needed.
