Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the Owner’s Representative, leading and overseeing mechanical construction activities across construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover phases.
  • •Ensure contractor personnel comply with project HSES requirements, site regulations, permit-to-work systems, and client procedures.
  • •Supervise mechanical construction to ensure compliance with Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings, specifications, ITPs, procedures, and site instructions.
  • •Monitor safety, quality, progress, and productivity; identify schedule constraints and site/material delivery impacts and communicate them to the Discipline Superintendent.
  • •Coordinate daily and weekly work plans with contractor supervision and engineering teams; monitor contractor performance, workforce discipline, and timekeeping, escalating concerns as required.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of industry experience, including proven experience in a similar Mechanical Supervisor role on an EPCM project within the refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or energy sector.
  • •Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related) or alternatively a relevant High School Certificate, Vocational Certificate, or Diploma.
  • •Demonstrated experience supervising mechanical construction for refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects.
  • •Proven capability managing contractors and delivering safe, effective construction execution.
  • •Registered Safety Officer at Supervisor Level with strong HSES knowledge, including Method Statements, JSA, and Risk Assessments.
