Key Responsibilities

•Own the day-to-day running of the stores facility, managing the full journey of stock from receipt and inspection through to safe storage, accurate recording, issue and distribution.
•Coordinate deliveries and collections, monitor stock levels, and investigate discrepancies; arrange movement of materials between sites and projects when required.
•Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock checks, cycle counts and inventory activities.
•Maintain a safe, clean and organised stores environment while storing and controlling materials (including hazardous substances) in line with company procedures and compliance requirements.
•Control company tools, equipment and assets with accurate issue/return records; promptly report losses, damage or defects and identify improvements to streamline stores processes.

Key Requirements

•Previous experience within a stores, warehouse, logistics or inventory environment is essential.
•Good understanding of stock management and inventory control processes.
•Confidence using stock control or inventory management systems.
•Strong Microsoft Office skills and a good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
•Excellent organisation, accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise, solve problems, and communicate effectively.
