Job Summary

Senior project management professional leading delivery of multiple complex projects in digital infrastructure and roadside technology, coordinating cross‑functional teams, clients, and supply chain within the Intelligent Infrastructure portfolio. You’ll drive project controls, manage risks and budgets, and mentor staff while aligning with national transport/public sector contexts and ISO/APM frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

•Take ownership for successful delivery of projects/programmes, provide leadership to the team, communicate effectively with all parties, identify and manage risks, plan and monitor progress, and implement appropriate project controls.
•Build strong client relationships, understand client needs, and act as a trusted advisor to meet objectives.
•Coordinate with other WSP teams in a multidisciplinary project environment.
•Manage supply chain suppliers and sub-consultants/contractors while ensuring legal compliance.
•Optimise resource balance across the programme and ensure deliverables and milestones are achieved on time and to the required quality.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience of project management across multiple projects with complex reporting structures.
•Experience delivering both project delivery and commercial performance, ensuring on-time, in-scope, on-budget outcomes and value generation.
•Experience leading or being part of a high performing team with ability to influence and motivate diverse colleagues.
•Experience in client, consultant, or contractor environments in public and/or private sectors delivering complex programmes.
•Qualification such as APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent is preferred.
