Track results, standardize an Assortment Execution Playbook, and lead rollout of updates with training support for a smooth civilian transition.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop a deep understanding of branch operations by working across multiple branch environments and observing stocking, promotions, discounting, and inventory tradeoffs.
•Assess current state by conducting assortment analysis and diagnostics using supplier mix and inventory health metrics (DOH, SLOB, turns).
•Translate category strategy into actionable assortment blueprints and execution plans, including SKU phase-in/phase-out and inventory transition plans.
•Facilitate cross-functional alignment across Supply Chain, Pricing, Sales, Branch Operations, and Supplier Relations using centralized tracking and an operating cadence (mini-SIOP).
•Lead rollout and change management for assortment updates, monitor weekly execution, resolve issues, and standardize an Assortment Execution Playbook based on results presented to senior leadership.

Key Requirements

•Approval from chain of command for the program and 180 days or fewer remaining on active duty at the time of program start.
•Pay Grade E-7 and above or O-1 and above.
•Experience in operations, supply chain, category management, logistics, or field leadership, including leading operational improvement efforts.
•Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent military experience).
•Eligible to earn certifications in warehouse operations, safety compliance, and equipment handling; Lean, Six Sigma and PMP are listed as certifications.
