Own the architecture and buildout of an Operations Intelligence Warehouse, combining BigQuery and Metabase BI to make operational throughput, quality, variance, and capacity measurable across Collective’s AI-native financial operation. Partner with Strategic Operations to turn telemetry into operating metrics like cycle time, first-pass yield, utilization, and cost-to-serve—connecting operations to GTM and financial data. Establish modeling, testing, and quality standards using dbt, dashboards, and statistical process rigor.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect the Operations Intelligence Warehouse by leading audit, cleanup, and architecture of the Operations data subset in the shared BigQuery warehouse, including schema/dataset design, documentation, and query cost management.
•Set the data modeling standard by building and maintaining dimensional models in dbt with testing, lineage, and version control so metrics trace to governed sources.
•Instrument operations with dashboards and metrics for real-time visibility into operational health, including throughput, cycle time, first-pass yield, exception rates, and capacity vs. demand.
•Connect operations to revenue by joining operational data to GTM and financial data to understand service quality impact on retention/NRR, workflow costs, and margin drivers.
•Power statistical rigor by partnering on statistical process control, variance analysis, and root cause analytics, replacing anecdote with evidence in daily decisions.

Key Requirements

•5+ years in data analysis or analytics engineering at a B2B SaaS or fintech company, ideally with a human-in-the-loop service delivery operation.
•Expert-level SQL and hands-on experience with dbt (data build tool) in a modern warehouse; BigQuery and Metabase strongly preferred.
•Track record leading data cleanup or warehouse re-architecture, untangling inconsistent schemas and establishing sources of truth.
•Strong data quality instincts, including testing frameworks, lineage, documentation, and git-based workflows.
•Ability to convert ambiguous operational questions into structured, measurable analyses that change decisions.
