Job Summary

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to maintain the reliability and performance of PhonePe’s large fintech infrastructure. You will focus on Linux/Unix administration, networking, open source tools, and cloud services to keep services always up. You’ll participate in on-call rotations, implement best IT operations, and work with private cloud, MySQL/MariaDB, and scripting (Perl/Python/Go) to optimize systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain a reliable and scalable service by monitoring and improving system availability, latency, and capacity.
•Manage Linux/server networking and iptables/IPsec configurations to ensure secure, resilient operations.
•Leverage open source tooling and cloud services to support deployment, automation, and incident response.
•Participate actively in on-call rotations and incident management, driving root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
•Collaborate with database and development teams to optimize performance and reliability of systems.
