Key Responsibilities

  • •Meet with clients and prospects to help build and maintain relationships.
  • •Structure venture debt facilities and other bank product credit limits to support growth while protecting downside risk.
  • •Perform underwriting activities including KPI analysis, driven/market analysis, and financial modeling (forecasting, scenarios, valuation).
  • •Maintain accurate internal documentation, financial reporting, and internal risk ratings for debt facilities.
  • •Build and maintain portfolio management controls for timely reviews and communicate client performance internally to senior credit approvers.

Key Requirements

  • •Analyze business models, financial statements, competitive landscapes, and KPIs to support credit decisions.
  • •Experience in debt underwriting for life science and healthcare sectors, including risk mitigation and capital structure and repayment analysis.
  • •Assess credit risk for existing portfolio, including covenant compliance, rating changes, and ongoing financial performance.
  • •Work with and negotiate commercial and credit terms alongside legal counsel.
  • •Proficiency in Excel and experience using databases such as PitchBook or Crunchbase.
