Key Responsibilities

  • •Assign delivery professionals and dispatch trucks to appropriate plants and delivery sites.
  • •Receive customer orders by phone, review order details for accuracy, and assist with order size and delivery timing.
  • •Monitor truck activity via radio and GPS tracking software to maintain schedules and develop next assignment schedules.
  • •Interact daily with CSC personnel, customers, delivery professionals, and plant personnel to ensure efficient deliveries.
  • •Resolve customer complaints, notify the Dispatch Manager of delivery concerns and site inefficiencies, and forward information to plants for filling orders.

Key Requirements

  • •High school degree or GED.
  • •3–5 years of related customer service experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • •Basic computer skills for entering orders using Outlook, Word, and Excel, plus keyboarding at 25+ wpm.
  • •Extensive knowledge of Austin and surrounding areas, including ability to read and understand maps.
  • •Must read, write, and speak English and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, including up to 65 hours per week including Saturdays.
