Job Summary

Provide business-focused legal counsel supporting FMC’s footprint in India and SW Asia, and across selected APAC jurisdictions. Lead legal support for post-divestment strategic projects, manufacturing operations, EHS/compliance, employment and HR matters, and litigation/disputes. Partner with commercial and functional teams to draft, review, and negotiate major commercial agreements, support corporate governance, strengthen regional ethics/compliance programs, and manage external counsel and legal spend using legal technology tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Support post-divestment activities, including transitional matters, residual risks, and advice on restructuring and operational adjustments.
•Provide legal support to manufacturing, plant, and supply chain teams, advising on industrial operations, EHS/operational compliance, and logistics/customs/foreign exchange risks.
•Enhance the compliance framework in India, focusing on key risk areas (including DPDPA implementation), and advise on anti-corruption and investigations.
•Act as legal partner to HR on employment matters, including disciplinary actions, terminations, employee disputes, and labor law compliance.
•Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and provide APAC corporate governance, ethics/compliance program support, and claims/litigation management with external counsel.

•Support compliance and ethics programs, including anti-corruption, internal policies and investigations, and DPDPA implementation.
•Oversee employment matters (disciplinary/terminations and disputes) and manage litigation/disputes with external counsel and legal spend control.
