Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely and efficiently unload and load bulk commodities from vessels and rail cars into storage facilities and from storage facilities into vessels.
  • •Perform terminal operations work, including cleaning, routine inspections, loading trucks with a front-end loader, weighing trucks, and manual labor tasks.
  • •Adhere to KMT policies and procedures and meet supervisor expectations and published standards.
  • •Participate in daily Safety Talks and help ensure work is conducted safely, efficiently, and with quality in mind.
  • •Report incidents and near misses and maintain assigned equipment or tools.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED is required.
  • •Experience in an industrial setting is preferred.
  • •Previous experience operating industrial rolling equipment (such as a front-end loader or forklift) is preferred.
  • •Must meet criteria to obtain and maintain a TWIC and be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company insurability requirements.
  • •Demonstrate good workplace attendance and safe, quality-conscious work performance, with good oral and written communication skills.
