Key Responsibilities

  • •Research and explain PostHog use cases, technical concepts, and how features actually work.
  • •Write technical blog posts such as use case guides, tutorials, technical explainers, and engineering posts.
  • •Collaborate with engineers and other marketers to capture what they built, why it matters, and what’s interesting to builders.
  • •Figure out what to write by tracking what the company is shipping and prioritizing based on your own judgment.
  • •Select the right content format for each idea and edit where needed.

Key Requirements

  • •A strong writer who can make complex technical topics clear, accurate, and enjoyable to read.
  • •A portfolio demonstrating technical content for a developer audience (e.g., explainers, engineering posts, tutorials) across formats such as SEO blogs and X threads.
  • •Ability to get comfortable with technical details (logs and traces, data warehouses, APIs, LLMs, and agents) and explain them accurately.
  • •Good taste for content that genuinely teaches versus content written only to rank for keywords.
  • •Independence: decide what to write, develop a point of view, and get it shipped without a rigid weekly assignment queue.
