Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide non-medical, short-term, walk-around counseling with assessment, brief counseling, action planning, referral to resources, and follow-up as indicated.
  • •Deliver training and health/wellness presentations, participate in health fairs and base activities as directed.
  • •Enter counselor activity data daily via smartphone or web application to ensure accurate reporting while maintaining confidentiality.
  • •Establish and maintain professional relationships with installation POC and community resources to ensure MFLC services are accessible and appropriately linked.
  • •Respond to critical incidents, surge events, and special requests as directed by POC and DoD program manager, and flex schedule as needed.

Salary: USD 59,922 - 100,280 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in a behavioral health field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling)
  • •Valid unrestricted independent counseling license (state, DC, US territory)
  • •Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience
  • •Demonstrated technology proficiency (Microsoft Suite, internet navigation, smartphone/tablet use, video-conferencing)
  • •Must be a US citizen and fluent in English
