Job Summary

Support the Senior Management Team at the Elgin Experience Center by coordinating site-wide events, leading operational projects, and fostering a connected, efficient workplace. Serve as the central hub for communications between leadership, plant floor personnel, and corporate stakeholders; manage travel, expenses, vendor contracts, meeting minutes, and action-item tracking to keep facility initiatives on track.

Key Responsibilities

•Site Visit Support: Coordinate site visitor agenda and support needs.
•Communication Liaison: Draft polished internal communications and site-wide announcements and act as a liaison between leadership, plant floor employees, and corporate stakeholders.
•Travel & Expense Management: Coordinate domestic and international travel itineraries and manage expense reconciliation using corporate software.
•End-to-End Event Coordination: Own planning, budgeting, and execution of local site events (plant town halls, employee appreciation days, holidays, community outreach, VIP/customer visits).
•Vendor & Hospitality Management: Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with local caterers, suppliers, and hospitality vendors to ensure top-tier hospitality.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of progressive cross-functional operations experience
•Associates or Bachelor’s preferred
•Experience planning and executing corporate or site-wide events for 50+ attendees
•Proficiency with Google Workspace and calendar/data tracking
•Strong discretion and ability to communicate across hourly staff and senior leaders
