Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and manage 3D BIM models for rail systems, stations, and related infrastructure.
  • •Produce 2D CAD drawings and detailed design documentation following U.S. and Nordics rail standards and project specifications.
  • •Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure model integrity, resolve clashes, and support design reviews.
  • •Implement and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific BIM protocols; validate models and perform clash detection and quality checks.
  • •Update and synchronize models on cloud collaboration platforms daily, deliver outputs on schedule, and report progress to the BIM Lead/Coordinator.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BIM and CAD design for rail or transportation projects.
  • •Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Bentley OpenRail (OpenRail/Road), and BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks.
  • •Experience using cloud collaboration platforms and CDE tools such as ProjectWise, BIM 360, or ACC.
  • •Experience handling Lidar/Point Cloud data and knowledge of interoperability across formats/platforms.
