Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; and diagnose issues using real-time information.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing and maintaining customer and company-owned pump, power, and HVAC equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and on customer locations; perform preventive maintenance and repairs when traveling is required.
  • •Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites, working individually or with other technicians as needed.
  • •Maintain complete, timely electronic documentation (work orders) and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of applicable tools, with ability to own required tools.
  • •Experience maintaining and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections and repairs.
  • •Ability to read schematics and calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
  • •Strong customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred; EPA 608 certification preferred (obtainable within 6–12 months).
