Key Responsibilities

•Lead and Grow the Bangalore FinOps Organisation: manage 4–6 team leads across AP, T&E, Payroll, MonOps, and Controllership, with 60–100+ staff; set a performance bar and develop leadership capabilities; drive talent density and retention.
•Translate Global Strategy into Bangalore Execution: partner with global Head of FinOps to translate strategy into operating plans and SOKRs; ensure managers understand objectives and autonomy; represent capacity in global planning.
•Drive Operational Excellence: own key service metrics (accuracy, cycle times, SLA adherence, cost per transaction, employee satisfaction); establish continuous improvement cadence; embed Lean/Six Sigma; identify AI/automation opportunities and optimize processes.
•Build Scalable Infrastructure: design operating model to support 2x–10x growth without proportional headcount; define service catalog, SLAs, and data quality standards.
•Steward Risk and Controllership: embed internal controls; identify and remediate control risks; maintain regulatory and tax reporting compliance across Stripe’s India entities; influence stakeholders at scale.

Key Requirements

•18+ years of relevant experience in Finance Operations, Accounting Operations, Shared Services, or Business Finance, including meaningful GCC, Captive, or SDC experience
