Job Summary

Join the Drilling Services AMO team to maintain and repair electro-mechanical drilling equipment. As an ARMO Tech, you’ll troubleshoot, test, assemble and overhaul equipment, interpret wiring diagrams and assembly prints, and follow quality and compliance procedures. You’ll identify technical problems using logical troubleshooting, apply preventive maintenance, and support other technicians through coaching while working in a shift-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide maintenance services to the Drilling Services team, working with best equipment to deliver solutions across repair levels.
•Troubleshoot, test, assemble/disassemble, and perform visual inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies.
•Perform mechanical assembly, maintenance, and overhaul on drilling services equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
•Read and interpret wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists to ensure accuracy and quality.
•Apply preventive maintenance, ensure work follows procedures and quality standards, and identify/communicate technical problems; coach other technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

•Have a technical associate degree or above in an Electrical or Mechanical field.
•Have 3+ years of maintenance-related experience in industries such as oilfield, automotive, airline, or military, with strong mechanical aptitude (e.g., soldering electronic components and reading engineering diagrams).
•Have experience working in a production, operation, assembly, or maintenance environment.
•Be familiar with multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers, and other measurement/gauging equipment and processes.
•Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese; be flexible with shift rotations.
