Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Commission Manager by taking personal responsibility for allocated post-contract cost management tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
  • •Administer post-contract services including interim applications, change control, variation valuations, and extension of time claims with detailed financial analysis and contractual justification in line with FIDIC and standard form contracts.
  • •Monitor post-contract costs by analyzing actual expenditures, commitments, and forecasted costs to stay aligned with approved budgets; review and validate contractor invoices and change orders for accuracy and contractual compliance.
  • •Produce accurate and timely cost reports, forecasts, and financial information, including financial reconciliation between contract terms, invoices, and accounting records.
  • •Interface with clients, contractors, and other consultants to communicate complex financial information clearly and identify/mitigate cost-related risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • •Minimum 4 years of professional experience in cost management and post-contract administration within construction and engineering environments.
  • •Proven UAE construction industry experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of contract administration and FIDIC standard form contracts.
  • •Demonstrated expertise in cost analysis, budget forecasting, and cost control methodologies with excellent communication and organisational skills.
