Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct thorough fire risk assessments across residential, commercial, industrial, and public premises.
  • •Assess fire safety measures such as fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire doors, and evacuation procedures.
  • •Develop detailed fire risk assessment reports with actionable recommendations to reduce risks.
  • •Ensure compliance with local fire safety legislation, standards, and best practices.
  • •Recommend appropriate fire protection systems, equipment, and procedures, and help deliver fire safety training for employees or tenants.

Key Requirements

  • •A recognised UK engineering degree qualification in Fire Engineering/Fire Safety, or a higher-level engineering qualification with demonstrable fire engineering industry training and delivery.
  • •Membership of a recognised Fire Risk Assessors Register.
  • •Advanced working knowledge of UK legislation, regulations, standards, and industry best-practice guides for the built environment.
  • •Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in the UK Fire & Construction Industry, including means/methods of design, specification, installation, bringing into use, lifecycle maintenance, and management of the built environment.
  • •Significant experience with advanced competencies and the ability to work independently on complex tasks.
