Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and ship landing pages, campaign sites, and constituent entry points for agency platforms that convert stakeholders and mission-driven talent.
  • •Build a constituent-facing visual system including typographic voice, motion language, and illustration style that carries a consistent Kaizen signature across services.
  • •Develop Kaizen’s own web presence such as the marketing site, launch moments, flyers, and campaign work.
  • •Ship your own work in code rather than handing off files to an engineer.
  • •Use AI-native creative tools to produce high-volume, high-quality creative and partner on federal pitch materials and proposal assets.

Key Requirements

  • •A portfolio showing web design that’s beautiful and functional, motion with craft, and illustration that doesn’t read as stock.
  • •A record of shipping work independently from start to finish, using tools like Claude Code.
  • •Strong command of web-native design, including layouts, typography, and how interactions behave in a browser.
  • •Fluency with motion and animation tools such as After Effects, Rive, and Lottie (or equivalent).
  • •Fluency with AI creative tools such as Midjourney, Runway, or Firefly, plus experience building brand systems from first principles.
