Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage small to large BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical and PH services, agreeing drawing strategy/type/size and drawing numbering with project engineers.
  • •Assist CAD/BIM leads with estimation and costing, and help agree project schedule and delivery programme.
  • •Set up BIM models to project standards and liaise with client-side Model Managers while coordinating with internal and client team members.
  • •Implement best practices, adopt new BIM/CAD technologies, and upskill/train team members; provide advice/coaching to junior CAD/BIM staff when requested.
  • •Ensure QA, document control, archiving and CDM guidelines are followed, and deliver detailed deliverables on agreed schedules with priorities/deadlines aligned to CAD/BIM leads.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience working across the full project life cycle, delivering quality models/reports/drawings with accuracy.
  • •Hands-on experience with Revit MEP, plus NAVIS and AutoCAD, including standard functions and parametric family creation.
  • •Knowledge of industry standards for Mechanical, Electrical and PH services and the consultant engineering role.
  • •Good project set-up and workflow knowledge including ACC/BIM 360.
  • •20+ years production experience in design/drafting/engineering with a proven track record in a similar role; diploma/degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering plus EngTech/Ieng/CEng (professional qualifications).
