Key Responsibilities

  • •Start up and commission new systems, and diagnose and repair environmental-control systems in commercial settings.
  • •Serve as the direct customer contact and service products/equipment on assigned projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • •Coordinate with team leaders and customers to understand on-site installation and repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize work.
  • •Maintain current knowledge of Trane products for installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.
  • •Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma (or equivalent) and typically 3–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience; technical school/formal training preferred.
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations (including DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving) in the past 3 years.
  • •Previous experience with DDC controls system is preferred.
