Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in the evolution of a Rust component shared with iOS and Android, maintaining a unified codebase for cross-platform consistency.
  • •Contribute to feature design and implementation to differentiate the product in the market.

  • •Own your scope by monitoring analytics and proactively addressing issues and triaging bugs.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience writing Rust (or other low-level systems language) in open-source or professional work.
  • •Experience with distributed systems in production (e.g., Redpanda/Kafka, ScyllaDB/Cassandra, etc.).
  • •Strong interest in building a product in the consumer social domain.
  • •Ability to collaborate with mobile engineers to maintain a unified codebase between platforms.
