Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain, prepare, and clean laboratory equipment, including organizing and maintaining storage systems for equipment and materials.
  • •Prepare and provide equipment for science lessons and prepare laboratory solutions.
  • •Perform stock control, including preparing replacement lists, and assist with completing and collating the annual order for the Science Department.
  • •Assist with reprographic work as required.
  • •Follow school requirements including health and safety, safeguarding, staff briefings, dress code, and other relevant school policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •Experience in a similar science technician role.
  • •Experience working in an educational setup.
  • •Excellent literacy and communication skills (written and spoken) to engage with SLT, Heads of Department, students, and parents.
  • •A-level in Science would be an advantage.
