Key Responsibilities

  • •Facilitate workshops and teams with project and programme teams to identify and assess business case needs.
  • •Develop and maintain strategies, plans and processes to generate successful business cases through to submission and approval.
  • •Maintain structured, consistent and auditable business case information and keep portfolios accurate and up to date using recognised methodologies and management software.
  • •Monitor risk treatments for continuous improvement throughout the business case lifecycle prior to submission.
  • •Build relationships with clients and programme/project managers and present outputs and recommendations to clients and senior leadership.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Experience working within project or programme environments in the Defence, Nuclear, Infrastructure or Construction sectors.
  • •Strong understanding of the ‘Green Book’ approvals and the five-case model, preferably within MOD and wider HM Treasury organisations where applicable.
  • •Strong understanding of the interfaces between business case generation, planning, cost management and change management disciplines.
  • •Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, facilitation and reporting skills.
  • •Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary project controls teams.
