Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to plan accounts and territories, strengthening payer knowledge and documentation for coverage strategies.
  • •Serve as a subject matter expert on reimbursement and the regional access landscape, including benefit design, payer policies, coverage criteria, and prior authorization requirements.
  • •Develop and execute account and territory plans using internal data and field insights to guide call objectives and increase customer knowledge.
  • •Collaborate with Alexion OneSource Patient Services on case management needs related to HCP education on reimbursement issues.
  • •Maintain accurate CRM and operational reporting for customer interactions, account plans, HCP office education, and case-related activity.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •5–7 years of experience in the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • •3+ years of field reimbursement experience, including buy-and-bill and/or specialty pharmacy networks.
  • •Understanding of access processes across medical and pharmacy benefit design, from Rx to infusion/injection, including prior authorization and in-office support.
  • •Strong communication and presentation skills to educate physicians and healthcare professionals confidently in an office/procedural environment.
