Serve as the technical and scientific face of Claude for leading pharmaceutical and biotech organizations. Lead executive-level engagements across drug discovery, translational research, clinical development, and regulatory affairs, translating customer needs into product priorities. Shape Claude’s life-sciences capabilities around scientific accuracy, citation integrity, GxP workflows, privacy, and governance. Drive thought leadership, ecosystem partnerships, and internal GTM enablement while navigating FDA/EMA expectations for responsible AI.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver technical evangelism and thought leadership through keynotes, executive briefings, whitepapers, and advisory boards to establish Claude across discovery, translational, clinical, and regulatory workflows.
•Serve as executive technical sponsor for strategic life sciences accounts, engaging CSOs/CMOs/Heads of R&D and AI/computational science on enterprise AI strategy.
•Partner with Product and Research to translate customer requirements into life-sciences-specific capabilities (scientific accuracy, citation integrity, GxP/validated workflows, privacy, governance, explainability, auditability).
•Contribute to pricing and packaging decisions using market insight across discovery, development, and commercial functions and align deal structuring with buyer purchasing behavior.
•Enable internal GTM teams with life sciences domain expertise, use cases, and buyer personas, and help shape regulatory and compliance thought leadership aligned with FDA/EMA expectations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 450,000 - 550,000 annually

Key Requirements

•20+ years of experience across scientific, technology, and/or business roles with at least 8 years in senior leadership positions in pharma/biotech or life sciences research.
•Deep domain expertise across one or more stages of the drug discovery and development lifecycle, with hands-on experience building or operating mission-critical scientific or development systems.
•Established executive networks and credibility as a thought leader across life sciences R&D and technology leadership.
•Deep knowledge of life sciences regulatory and quality requirements (FDA/EMA, GxP, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, data integrity, computer system validation) with experience implementing compliant solutions.
•Experience influencing product roadmaps from customer feedback and market requirements while working with Product and Engineering teams.
