Job Summary

Design and integrate complex aerospace production tooling by interpreting requirements, developing equipment and tooling concepts, and producing detailed drawings with configuration management. Validate technical data, recommend robotics/automation solutions, and support production readiness through gated reviews and maintenance/spares planning. Partner with procurement on make/buy decisions and help ensure schedule, cost, and quality targets while meeting safety, design, producibility, and regulatory requirements. This role is fully onsite in Heath, OH.

•Interpret design requirements and develop tooling designs to meet assembly requirements.
•Develop equipment/tooling concepts and design production system solutions, including alternatives.
•Create complex design drawings and own configuration management from design through fabrication to turnover to assembly technicians.
•Validate analysis of technical data and make robotics, automation, or technical recommendations for production system integration.
•Execute project plans, support make/buy decisions with procurement, ensure safety/design/producibility/maintainability/reliability compliance, and develop production readiness and preventative maintenance/spares plans.

•Minimum 3+ years of related experience.
•CATIA experience.

•Bachelor of Science degree in engineering/engineering technology/computer science/data science/mathematics/physics/chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work.
