Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform accurate diagnostics and complete mechanical and cosmetic repairs on vehicle systems
  • •Inspect vehicles to meet CarMax Quality Standards and complete state inspections when required
  • •Manage repair orders with accurate labor, parts, and billing documentation
  • •Utilize proprietary and universal software systems in day-to-day work
  • •Maintain a clean, organized workspace following CarMax 5S standards and EH&S requirements

  • •Completion of CarMax New Associate Orientation and Kronos Training for Hourly Associates
  • •Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data accurately for record-keeping

  • •Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods, with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
