Job Summary

Provide and coordinate NICU patient care, assessing and reassessing needs, analyzing clinical data, and implementing medical plans in collaboration with physicians and allied health teams. Develop and evaluate patient care plans, record and escalate abnormal vital signs, and maintain clinical skills. Support safe admission, transfer, and discharge, administer medications and treatments, perform wound care, assist in procedures, and deliver essential life support within scope.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide and coordinate patient care by assessing and re-assessing needs, collecting pertinent data, and implementing and monitoring medical plans and treatment.
•Develop and evaluate patient care plans with an interprofessional team, collaborating with patients and their bystanders.
•Record vital signs, recognize abnormalities, address and escalate issues; promote patient health and a safe environment.
•Understand diagnostic tests and laboratory examinations; prepare patients for examination and treatment.
•Administer medications and treatments (including IV fluids and blood products), manage wound care, assist in procedures as needed, and support safe admission, transfer, and discharge.

Key Requirements

•Have an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse in the relevant regulatory health authority, with all required qualifications and experience.
•Manage professional re-licensure.
•Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
•Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
•Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
