Key Responsibilities

  • •Test a variety of electronic units using prescribed test procedures and interpret/record results.
  • •Set up and operate various test stands and configure test equipment for special tests.
  • •Recognize and isolate test equipment failures, and troubleshoot units to the sub-assembly/component level using diagnostic tools.
  • •Read and interpret technical data including component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics.
  • •Communicate work status to team members and support staff and write technical information clearly and concisely.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires an HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • •Experience reading or interpreting schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings.
  • •Experience using multimeters or oscilloscopes.
  • •Experience interpreting and recording test results, recognizing and isolating test equipment failures.
  • •Experience with component-level troubleshooting and working with electronic units (preferred).
