Job Summary

Join the London Marine Cargo team in a hybrid client-facing Broker role at Aon’s Global Broking Centre. Support senior brokers with preparation, negotiation, and placement of marine cargo renewals and new business. Prepare market presentations and submissions, review and draft key insurance documentation under supervision, use electronic placing platforms, and build strong relationships with insurers and underwriters while coordinating closely with Client Service Delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Support senior brokers with preparation, negotiation, and placement of marine cargo renewals and new business.
•Prepare and update market presentations and broker submissions in response to client and prospect enquiries.
•Review and draft basic insurance documentation (slips, endorsements, binders) under supervision and issue to clients and insurers.
•Use electronic placing platforms to support the placement process and, once trained, sign market lines under appropriate authority.
•Liaise with Client Service Delivery to ensure accurate processing of documentation, invoicing, and policy issuance; maintain placement records and broking file quality while representing Aon professionally in meetings.

Key Requirements

•Experience in a broking or similar insurance role.
•Familiarity with insurance industry systems and tools, with the ability to learn and use placing platforms and internal systems.
•Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality documentation and file management.
•Evidence of building effective working relationships with internal stakeholders such as brokers, account managers, and operations.
•High numeracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with effective written and verbal communication.
