Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center while meeting production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day team activities, identify strengths and weaknesses, and drive continuous improvements to meet inventory targets.
  • •Coach and develop assigned associates, provide feedback, and conduct performance management with clear expectations and goals.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects, and train associates on Quality Control standards to complete repairs effectively the first time.
  • •Ensure safety, adherence to systems/policies/standards, prevent and resolve conflicts, and partner with the Inspection Center General Manager on repair vs. reject decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent and at least 18 years of age.
  • •Experience using computers and demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of the reconditioning process.
  • •Demonstrated understanding of current reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years).
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, stand for extended periods, use safety equipment, and work overtime and weekends/variable schedules.
