Job Summary

Start up and commission new HVAC and environmental-control systems, and diagnose and repair equipment at customer sites. Serve as the direct customer contact to ensure satisfaction by troubleshooting problems and coordinating installation and repair work with team leaders. Maintain current knowledge of Trane direct digital control (DDC) systems, enforce safety standards, and manage company assets while working overtime and occasional overnight stays as needed.

•Maintain current knowledge of Trane products related to installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company and procured assets by recording asset use, wear, and condition.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent; typically 3-5 years of HVAC/Controls experience (technical school/formal training preferred).
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a handheld computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations (per specified examples).
•Previous experience with DDC controls systems preferred.
•EPA preferred.
