Job Summary

Lead mechanical engineering design for building projects and external utility services within a Sweden-India service team, coordinating with local and Sweden-based engineers. Responsible for high-quality technical design, calculations (HVAC/plumbing), BIM modelling, and mentoring junior engineers while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design, review and delivery of high-quality mechanical services engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and reports to required regulations.
•Manage project delivery and leadership, acting as project manager on selected projects and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
•Develop the technical capabilities of the team and participate in design peer reviews to ensure internal quality procedures are followed.
•Collaborate with India and Sweden teams to identify, assess, and manage project risks, ensuring timely delivery and optimal commercial outcomes.
•Mentor junior engineers and communicate effectively with stakeholders to meet project deadlines and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
•Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience
•Comprehensive experience of technical design and associated discipline software
•Experience delivering international projects
•Proven ability to produce high quality mechanical services engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and reports
