Job Summary

Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and programs across the full lifecycle of modules construction projects—from design and procurement through fabrication, commissioning, and load out. Define project HSE plans and risk management strategies, coordinate site and contractor compliance, manage emergency preparedness and environmental controls, lead incident investigations with RCA, and run audits, inspections, and HSE training to drive a zero-incident safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop project HSE plans, requirements, and risk management strategy across the project lifecycle from proposal through execution/completion.
•Plan, implement, and coordinate HSE activities to meet company and contractual requirements and applicable laws, standards, and regulations.
•Act as primary interface with the project management team and client representatives on HSE issues during execution.
•Ensure emergency preparedness, coordinate drills, and monitor environmental aspects including waste, pollution prevention, spills control, air emissions, and hazardous materials handling.
•Lead incident investigations using Root Cause Analysis (RCA), track corrective actions, and conduct internal/external HSE audits and inspections; coordinate HSE supervision and training to promote safety culture.

Key Requirements

•BSc in Engineering from an accredited university.
•Minimum 10+ years of experience in project HSE management in EPC/construction companies, preferably oil & gas or energy.
•Knowledge of local and international HSE laws, regulations, and standards.
•Qualification as an internal auditor on ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and knowledge of ISO 9001.
•Familiarity with method statements, JSAs, HAZOP, and HAZID methodologies, with strong leadership and communication skills.
