Key Responsibilities

  • •Define, implement, characterize, and validate standard cell design solutions against PPA, manufacturability, and cost requirements.
  • •Execute physical design flow activities including circuit, layout, extraction, characterization, and optimization for timing, congestion, power, signal integrity, and reliability.
  • •Collaborate with standard cell stakeholders to understand design requirements and develop robust implementation and validation strategies.
  • •Review and validate work to ensure compliance with design, manufacturing, and quality requirements.
  • •Run end-to-end experiments and flows to generate, validate, and release custom standard cell collateral on demand requests.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Nano science, Microelectronics, Computer Engineering, or another STEM field.
  • •2+ years of experience with standard cell layout, standard cell abstract modeling, standard cell characterization, and/or ASIC design and verification.
  • •Experience implementing standard cell circuit and layout, extraction, characterization, and optimization for timing, congestion, power, signal integrity, and reliability.
  • •Experience using EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Custom Compiler, Cadence Abstract Generator, Synopsys PrimeLib, Cadence Innovus, Cadence Tempus, Synopsys PrimeTime, Synopsys HSpice, Synopsys StarRC, Synopsys ICV, Cadence Pegasus, or Siemens Calibre.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences.
