Build and grow profitable relationships with lower-middle market corporations and nonprofit clients, driving new business through calls, referrals, networking, and cross-selling. Key Responsibilities

•Solicit commercial clients and aggressively pursue quality new business through calls, referrals, and cross-selling.
•Obtain and maintain COIs and attend networking events in the assigned geographic area.
•Structure loans, perform credit analysis, and manage credit process execution through closing.
•Generate a wide variety of commercial and real estate loans, including typical $1M to $10M closings.
•Lead and manage the team by training, developing, and coaching associates to meet performance goals; support proposals and cross-sell banking products for deposit growth.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, or a related field is preferred.
•Minimum of seven years of direct lending or credit support experience focused on business relationships.
•Formally credit trained and/or underwriting knowledge and experience preferred.
•Familiarity with the sales, loan processing, and closing processes.
•Extensive knowledge of commercial banking products, including C&I and owner-occupied/investment commercial real estate loans.
