Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform on-site inspection of failed mechanical and hydraulic components and motors, identifying wear, deformation, cracks, corrosion, and winding failures to determine root causes.
  • •Develop laser rebuild plans including material matching, laser cladding parameters, pre/post heat treatment, machining allowance design, and complete surface restoration.
  • •Conduct full motor overhaul work: disassembly, winding testing, insulation replacement, rotor dynamic balance, bearing replacement, assembly, and performance bench testing.
  • •Operate and debug laser remanufacturing equipment and optimize parameters (laser power, scanning speed, powder feeding) to improve repair yield and reduce material waste.
  • •Perform post-repair precision machining and inspections, troubleshoot abnormal quality issues, provide technical guidance, and compile repair SOPs and failure analysis reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Manufacturing, Mechanical & Electronic Engineering, Material Forming, or a related discipline.
  • •2+ years of relevant experience in laser cladding/remanufacturing, mechanical part repair, or industrial motor overhaul (mining/heavy machinery background preferred).
  • •Master laser remanufacturing processes, including metal powder cladding, surface repair, and precision turning/milling post-processing.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of motor structures, winding detection, dynamic balance, insulation treatment, and motor performance testing standards.
  • •Ability to read mechanical drawings and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, hardness tester) for dimensional and performance verification.
