Job Summary

Play a key role in the Freight Audit team by validating freight invoices across the EUR and/or US scope. Compare carrier invoices to contracts, rates, and POs, resolve discrepancies with carriers/forwarders, and ensure accurate cost booking and recharges. Investigate cases within SLAs using SAP/TMS, build performance reports and KPI visibility, and improve audit controls through automation and touchless processing.

Key Responsibilities

•Validate freight invoices by comparing carrier invoices against contracts, rates, and POs to ensure charges match agreed terms.
•Resolve discrepancies with carriers/forwarders by disputing overcharges and closing gaps quickly.
•Ensure accurate cost booking to correct cost centers and execute recharges (including D&D) according to the recharge model.
•Investigate freight audit cases within agreed SLAs using SAP/TMS, deriving conclusions from data and maintaining procedures and documentation.
•Drive process reliability and continuous improvement by identifying control gaps, pushing automation/touchless processing, and building routine and ad-hoc performance reports.

Key Requirements

•Fluency in English at C1 level.
•Experience in freight audit, logistics invoicing, finance operations, or invoice validation.

•Analytical accuracy and attention to detail to validate data and produce error-free outputs.
•Business/service mindset with adaptability to work in a fast-moving, high-volume environment.
