Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined commercial market. Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, commission, and start up HVAC systems on-site, coordinating with team leaders, project managers, and customers to forecast needs and complete installations and repairs. Use software and hand tools following blueprints/specifications while prioritizing safety, asset accountability, and flexible scheduling that may include overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand on-site installation and repair requirements, forecasting issues and synchronizing materials and work.
•Act as direct customer contact for assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Diagnose and repair HVAC units using software/technology and hand tools while following blueprints or engineering specifications.
•Maintain flexibility for overtime and weekend work as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; technical school/formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations (including DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving).
•EPA Universal Certification (required).
