Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide quality, safe clinical care in the emergency centre to patients presenting for emergency treatment.
  • •Assist with teaching and coordinating clinical development programmes to improve patient care.
  • •Adhere to and support nursing staff in the application of triage in the emergency centre.
  • •Actively participate in company strategies such as PatientsFirst@Mediclinic.
  • •Partake in emergency centre quality improvement and quality assurance initiatives and maintain emergency medical care knowledge and expertise.

Key Requirements

  • •Provide quality, safe clinical care in the emergency centre through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and patient disposition.
  • •Completion of internship and community service years.
  • •MB BCh/MB ChB (essential).
  • •Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Paediatric Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Basic Life Support (as required job skills).
  • •Previous experience post community service year in an emergency centre in a private or public hospital (desired).
