Job Summary

Lead Project Management Consultancy for HVDC converter stations, EHV substations, and associated overhead transmission lines. Own planning and delivery across pre-construction, construction, testing, commissioning, and closeout, coordinating with EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, and client teams. Manage contract and commercial activities, monitor schedule/cost/progress, oversee construction sequencing and interfaces, drive quality/HSE compliance, and lead multidisciplinary site team coordination and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead project mobilization, baseline schedule development, and PMC activities across pre-construction, construction, testing, commissioning, and closeout.
•Review and monitor EPC contractor programme, milestone schedules, look-ahead plans, and recovery plans; track physical progress and critical-path impacts.
•Administer contracts and manage commercial activities including variations, change requests, extension-of-time, claims, quantities, payment applications, and cost forecasts.
•Oversee construction monitoring and coordination, including interfaces between converter stations, substations, transmission lines, utilities, and resolution of RFIs and design-interface issues.
•Drive quality and HSE compliance through inspections, reviews of non-conformance and corrective actions, and maintenance of testing/installation records while supporting incident investigations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
•Minimum 15 years of experience in major power transmission, substation, or HVDC infrastructure projects.
•Demonstrable experience in construction of HVDC converter stations, EHV substations, or overhead transmission lines.
•Previous PMC, Owner’s Engineer, EPC, or construction-management experience.
•Strong knowledge of project planning, contract administration, construction supervision, and commissioning.
