Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct security and sanitation checks before shift relief and throughout the shift.
  • •Inventory equipment, ensure authorized items are in working condition, and verify radio readiness.
  • •Perform detention, processing, safeguarding, security, and escort duties for male detainees as required by contract.
  • •Exercise surveillance and maintain order and discipline, providing custody and control and attending to housing, feeding, and well-being 24 hours a day.
  • •Supervise detainees at hearings, during transport, and while receiving medical care; remove detainees from holding areas using restraints and security measures.

Key Requirements

  • •Meet health and physical capability requirements and pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
  • •Be a U.S. citizen and maintain current/physical residency in the continental United States.
  • •Have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old.
  • •Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance and pass a criminal background and consumer credit check.
  • •Possess a valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain and maintain a state security guard license, while reading and speaking fluent English.
