Key Responsibilities

  • •Support implementation of the regional underwriting strategy and maintain a profitable, sustainable portfolio.
  • •Evaluate and authorize businesses that exceed local underwriting teams’ authority, within assigned delegation levels.
  • •Respond to local underwriting requests (new business quotes, renewals, reconsiderations, clarifications, and advisories) within established timelines.
  • •Execute special business processes (facultative placements, special approvals, and regional programs) effectively and on time.
  • •Provide advisory, training, and support to local underwriting teams and monitor regional line KPIs to drive actions for Natural Resources and Construction All Risks products.

Key Requirements

  • •Professional degree in engineering, business administration, and/or related fields.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in underwriting Technical Lines.
  • •Prior experience underwriting Construction All Risks (Todo Riesgo Construcción) and related technical risks; Natural Resources experience in power generation, mining, renewables, and conventional power generation/distribution.
  • •Advanced English (mandatory).
  • •Ability to analyze highly complex contracts and underwriting principles to identify and resolve issues proactively.
